His expertise covers the gamut between providing immediate shelter and settlement to comprehensive camp infrastructure construction projects.He has served throughout Indonesia, Afghanistan, Iraq, Nepal and Bangladesh.

While employed with IOM, Ir Rajasegaran enriched the agency by imparting his expertise in emergency disaster response skills to government institutions and national and international colleagues.With post-graduate qualifications in engineering and management, he further advanced his on-the-job skills with professional certification in Disaster Risk Management.The cwrtificayion for the "resilience preparedness" and recovery and reconstruction program was conducted by IFRC Geneva in collaboration with major Indian R & D universities.
His extended skills has brought value to his work to the benefit of humanitarian and international relief organizations.Ir Rajasegaran also a trained professional in capacity building training ( ToT) in CCCM camps construction, shelter planning , design and construction management of projects. Currently, he heada a large technical engineering unit managing and overseeing many humanitarian emergency, recovery and reconstruction response projects with UN IOM throughout Iraq.
